Potterne Skatepark Project

This project was launched in November 2015 by a group of volunteers keen to reach out to those accessing the skatepark in Verwood. They take the bus and base themselves next to the park, offering out toasties, hot drinks, and alongside all the activities the bus offers, a listening ear where needed. The project is proving a great success as more young people seem drawn to the bus regardless of the weather. The age of those accessing the project ranges from 14 – 19 and the bus parks up every Friday night between 7:30pm and 9pm. The project is led by Mikala James.
